A note on comparison
The Turkish and European figures are not directly comparable: the European data is a weekly average producer price, the Turkish data the price of individual registered trades. Anyone comparing them must also account for the exchange rate and the difference in dates.

Does olive oil have a use-by date? Best-before dates, shelf life and oil past its date

Shelf life is set by the operator rather than by legislation — and even the format of the date reveals how long it is.
