Privacy Policy

This notice explains what data is processed when you visit Zeytin.NET. It fulfils the information obligation under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

Zeytin.NET is an independently operated publishing platform. The controller can be reached through the contact form.

2. Data processed

The site has no membership system; you do not need an account to read, and you are not asked for your name, address or telephone number.

Server logs. As with any web server, requests are recorded together with IP address, date and time, the address requested, and browser and operating system information. These records are kept for security, prevention of abuse and fault diagnosis, and are deleted after a short period.

Correspondence. If you e-mail us, the information you include is used solely to reply to you.

Chat room. The chat service runs on a separate system with its own rules. What you write in chat is visible to other participants.

3. Cookies

Apart from technical cookies required for the site to function, no tracking cookies are used. See the Cookie Policy for details.

4. Third parties

• Radio stream. The audio on the Zeytin Radio page comes from a separate broadcast server; pressing play establishes a connection to it, and your IP address is technically visible there.
• Images. Images on this site are hosted on our own server; nothing is pulled from external sites.
• Social media. No embedded social media trackers are present.

5. Transfer of data

Your personal data is never sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be shared with competent public authorities only where legally required.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 and the GDPR you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to processing. Requests may be sent through the contact form.

7. Children

The site does not offer content aimed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

This notice is updated as necessary; the date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
