Treatment Olive fruit fly

Count stings on 800-1,000 fruits

THRESHOLD: 1% for brining varieties, 3-4% for oil. Below it, do not spray.
Cultural Olive fruit fly

Gather and remove infested and fallen fruit

Every 3-4 days through the damage period. The larva inside is still developing.
Cultural Olive knot

Clear galled dead branches; paint wounds with 5% copper sulphate

The bacterium is dormant now; cutting creates no new infection. Prune in SUMMER.
Treatment Olive scale

Treat the second generation at 50% egg hatch

⚠ The first generation is not treated. Nor the second if parasitism exceeds 50%.

Check tender shoots for eggs and larvae

THRESHOLD: 10% live larvae or infested shoots. Spray AT DUSK.
