Registered prices extracted from the Gemlik Commodity Exchange's monthly bulletins: black and green table olives, extra virgin oil and paste. Forty months of quantity-weighted averages.

This is a historical record, not a current price. The Gemlik Commodity Exchange stopped publishing its bulletins in June 2022, and no exchange in the Marmara region reports olive registrations to the national portal. Why does this data matter?

Gemlik is the centre of Türkiye's best-known table olive variety, and more than 80% of Marmara's crop is processed as black table olives. Yet no Marmara exchange reports olive registrations to the national price portal, so the region is invisible in the country's official price picture. These forty months are the only structured record of what was actually registered there.
