Reporting unlawful content
Reporting content that infringes personal rights or copyright or is otherwise unlawful: where and how to apply, and how fast we respond.
If you believe that content published on Zeytin.NET infringes your personal rights, violates your copyright or is unlawful for any other reason, you can contact us directly. Requests are assessed under Turkish Law No. 5651 and related legislation.
Where to send a request
Send your request by e-mail to abuse@yudum.net. For requests by post, use the address on the Imprint page. You can also use the site's contact form; put "Content report" in the subject line.

What a request should include
- Your name and an e-mail address or telephone number where we can reach you
- The full internet address (URL) of the content concerned
- Which part of the content is unlawful, and on what grounds
- For a personal-rights claim, an explanation showing that the content concerns you
- For a copyright claim, information or a document showing that the work is yours
How requests are assessed
Requests alleging a violation of personal rights are answered within 24 hours at the latest, in line with Article 9 of Law No. 5651. If a request is found to be justified, the content is removed or corrected, or the relevant passage is taken out, and the applicant is informed. Content notified by a court or a competent authority is blocked immediately, as the decision requires.
Copyright notices lead to a review of the content. Some of the photographs on the site come from licensed image archives, with their source and photographer recorded; data cards and charts are produced by the site itself. An image or text you report as yours may be taken down until the review is concluded. Details of copyright requests are on the Copyright and Content Policy page.
Factual errors
If you think an article or page contains incorrect information, no legal request is needed: write to us through the contact form with "Correction" in the subject line, or to iletisim@yudum.net. How corrections are handled is described on the Editorial Desk page.
