How the calculation works

Yield (randıman) is the share of the fruit's weight that becomes oil. It varies with variety, ripeness, water content and extraction method — typically 15-25%, around 20% as a working figure. Early-harvested green fruit yields less; fully ripe fruit yields more.
Kilograms are not litres. Olive oil has a density of about 0.916 kg/L at 20 °C, so 1 kg is roughly 1.09 litres. Treating them as the same is a common and costly mistake.
The olive price defaults to the most recent registered exchange price for olives destined for oil. You can type your own figure instead.
The result is an estimate. Only the mill's own measurement gives the true figure for a given batch.
